Since 2006, Candida Jacoby, LCSW, has been helping clients achieve their goals and reduce stress using an evidence based, holistic approach to psychological wellness. She has experience working with individuals from different ethnic, socio-economic, religious, and spiritual backgrounds, who are experiencing a variety of life’s challenging situations. Candida is dedicated to working with each client to help resolve situational, chronic, and deep rooted issues by gaining perspective and reprograming beliefs, also known as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Candida assists clients in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves in order to move forward in a healthy and intentional way. She believes that the most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. Candida guides clients to facilitate health within this relationship, serving as a foundation for all other relationships.
Candida approaches to treatment are strength-based, person-centered, and relational. She uses mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and humanistic psychotherapy to assist in treating the “whole” person with a focus on the mind body connection.
Candida’s specialties include working with clients in areas of anxiety, confidence and self-worth, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, strained parent child relationships, single parenting, anger management, geriatrics, and/or are in a challenging life transition. She serves adolescents, young adults, adults, families, LGBTQ, and persons with disabilities. Since no two people are the same, together we can create the right treatment plan just for you. Candida is dedicated to supporting clients on their journeys to wellness through a therapeutic and holistic process.
Candida is certified in EFT (emotional freedom technique) a technique that promotes the relaxation response by tapping on acupressure points, hypnotherapy, and Reiki.
