Couples are often doing the best they can in the face of external stress, internal conflict, and/or years of compromised communication. Therapy may be helpful in exploring issues related to intimacy, communication, conflict, sources of frustration, financial concerns, and parenting concerns. The therapeutic atmosphere is safe and affirming. We seek to explore the interactional style of the couple's dynamics to help to empower the couple to have choices in their responses to one another. Understanding these complex relational styles helps to pave the way for new skills and greater healing.
