Telehealth, Online, and Virtual Therapy are all ways of naming therapy that is done remotely.

During this pandemic, know that we are here for you.

What You Need

  • You'll need a cell phone or computer.  We will work within a platform that allows video conferencing that is also up to the standards and regulations of the profession to protect your information and privacy. 
  • A private location without others present, with a door is ideal
  • Possibly headphones with a microphone to offer more privacy
  • Please close all other apps and background programs to insure fastest internet service and best picture
  • It's recommended to power down your computer and start up about 15 minutes prior to session to avoid delays if the session requires re-connection (occasionally happens)

Telehealth is  a mode of therapy that healthcare providers have been using for over thirty years.  Many studies have been conducted that support the idea that remote therapy can be as effective as in-person therapy.  What's more, virtual sessions give people opportunity to work with our therapists who live all over Illinois.  Don't let your location impede your mental health, we're here to help.
